EOC Tailor Made Polymers as a European joint venture in operation in India since 1996. We manufacture a range of state-of the art emulsions for wide ranging coating applications. We are supplying our clay coating acrylic latex for paper board applications to several leading paper mills in India. Our products are manufactured at our well equipped plant at Tarapur, near Mumbai with technology from the EOC Group, our European partners and manufactured with imported additives to stringent quality control and meet international specifications. An acrylic latex in paper coating imparts to the paper/board, better offset pick, superior sheet and ink gloss , non- yellowing (better aging) properties and is also odourless. Traditionally, in India and abroad, despite the better properties of an acrylic latex, the XSBR latex has been used for paper coating, primarily because it is much cheaper than an acrylic latex. However, now with prices of butadiene, which is one of the key RMs in XSBR latex going up substantially and not likely to come down anytime soon, paper mills are switching to acrylic latex as better quality alternative.
