INTRODUCTION: The Parker Print-Surf (PPS) Test & Calibration Set enables the instrument user to make statistically valid calibration checks traceable to the Messmer Buchel reference instrument. The TMI Group of Companies has the only ISO standardizing laboratory for supplying calibration media. The set includes three sets of six discs (18 in total; each set has a different roughness value assigned to it after measurement on the Messmer Buchel reference instrument. Nominal roughness values are set to cover ranges for previous and current models of Parker-Print Surfs. APPLICATIONS: Fine paper, Coated paper, Newsprint, Coated board, Films & foils, Printing/graphics, Packaging, Carton board FEATURES: * Traceable calibration to reference instrument * Suitable for different models * Check value of readings * Check linearity of instrument * Satisfies ISO 9000 type quality systems | |
