Kahramanmaras Kagit Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Sirketi was established in 1988 in Kahramanmaras. The production of corrugated paper was started at the end of 1989 with a PM I paper machine with a capacity of 40,000 metric tons/year. The factory was built on an area of 200,000 m², 30,000 m² of which was indoors, on the road to Gaziantep. In 1997, gray board production was also started with the commissioning of the PM II paper machine. In the same year, the modernization investment of the PM I paper machine both improved the quality and increased the total capacity to 150,000 metric tons/year. With the improvement and modernization works carried out on both PM I and PM II lines in the following years, the capacity of the plant reached 220,000 metric tons/year. In order to see ‘who we are’ and ‘what we do’ please kindly read the following text and details; We currently own and run 2 paper mills in Kahramanmaras cities. We do manufacture all Brown grades which is 100% recycled base and some pulp added (as raw material) paper types in our both paper mills. Our production is all prime paper quality. We do not carry any stock lots and / or side runs. We have new white line investment which allows us to produce white top testliner and Gypsumboard Ivory/white. We have started producing White Top Testliner Paper in 120 gsm in Kahramanmaras Paper Mill as well. In Kahramanmaras Paper Mill with PM1 and PM2, we manufacture Fluting / NSS Fluting, Testliner, Greyboard, Coreboard and Gypsumboard Paper in different gsm and are all recycled base. There is sizing available in Kahramanmaras Paper mill products. In order to ensure an environmentally sustainable world, we have achieved Zero Waste Facility Certification with mention of facilities such as biomass and coal-fired power plants. You may get the technical specifications for the paper sets we currently manufacture when you ask. Our Product Manufactured: 1. We are the only manufacturer for Gypsumboard Paper both Grey/Grey and Grey/White - in Kahramanamaras Paper Mill - in Turkey. We do perform export operations of Gypsumboard Paper to more than 20 countries around the Globe as well. 2. We manufacture Coreboard and Greyboard. Coreboard is dominantly used in the Textile and Paper industry to produce cones & tubes. In this segment, we have a very special product which we call high strength / high jule coreboard which you may find technical details in the attachment as well. Greyboard is mostly used in the tissue industry to make cores of towels and toilet paper. In this regard, we dominate 95% of the Greyboard market for tissue core business in Turkey. 3. We both have regular Fluting Paper and NSS Fluting in Kahramanmaras Paper Mill which is used for refrigerator and freezer boxes and also for Pizza boxes. NSS Fluting Paper is specifically designed and engineered to be used in both cold and hot climates per customers’ requests. 4. Our Testliner Paper from Kahramanmaras is very high quality and named as Imitiation Kraft. Its technical details are in the attachment as well. 5. In both mills we have started producing Kraft Paper. Related technical specs are in the attachment for your kind consideration. 6. We do have new products; NSS Fluting Paper designed both for Pizza boxes (indirect Food contact) and Freezer and Refrigerator boxes. 7. We have a new white line for White Top Testliner and White (Ivory) Gypsumboard Paper. Since we have ongoing revision investment, after a short interval, Green and Pink Gypsumboard will be available soonest again. (The samples can be obtained when it is asked.) 8. We have a new product called C50 which refers to Coreboard 500 Joule. 9. Quality / Product certificates of ours are presented as well once demanded. For full trim purposes, our machine widths are as follows: Kahramanmaras Paper Mill - PM1 & PM2. PM1: 375 cm & PM2: 225 cm Additional Information: 1. Please kindly note that our Reel core diameter is: 4 inches = 10 cm as our general production standard for domestic sales and export. If you or your customers ask for 3 inches = 7.6 cm as core diameter you need to take our machines’ full trim sizes into consideration. Yes, we can manufacture paper in 3 inches as core diameter but it must be in full trim with our paper machines. For Greyboard we may produce 6 inches which is 150 cm in core diameter. 2. The seaport for Kahramanmaras Paper Mill is Iskenderun and / or Mersin Ports for seaway transportation. In case any customer has special requirements, we would be happy to help.
