Dandy Rolls India recommend suitable Electrical Drive arrangement for Dandy Rolls of high speed machines as well as in certain special applications even on slow speed and lower GSM paper manufacturing machines. Dandy Rolls India can supply and have also supplied both DC and AC Drives for Dandy roll application along with suitable Panel box. Recommendation of HP for the Drive motor and Gear box ratio are selected, based on the speed of the machine and Diameter of the Dandy Roll. Dandy Roll Drives are recommended for achieving: * A perfect synchronization of the Dandy roll with that of the foudriner wire. * To control the elongation of paper especially in the case of water mark papers. * To avoid drag of Dandy Roll on the wire. * Smooth and steady run of paper. * To allow more room for improving the formation. In addition to the Drive, Dandy Rolls India recommend a fail safe device to be incorporated for quick lifting the Dandy roll off the fourdriner wire in case of non synchronization of set speed between Dandy Roll and the fourdriner wire, to avoid damage to the Dandy Roll or the fourdriner wire.
