Dandy Rolls India recommends: *Dandy Rolls between 500 and 700 mm Dia for above speed can be run on Trunions without Drive. *However, on certain specialty papers and light weight papers it is advisable to use a separate drive arrangement for running the Dandy Roll in synchronization with the wire speed. *Dandy Rolls above 700 mm Dia and up to 1000mm Dia can be run with one end suitable for Central drive and the other end to rest on trunion.. *However the modern Dandy Rolls are fitted with Double side flanges with spherical roller bearings to totally eliminate vibration caused generally by friction of Dandy Roll with Trunion wheels. | |
