Disc Thickener for paper pulp production Disc Thickener is used for the thickening of low-consistency pulp. As compared with traditional gravity dewatering equipment, this equipment has such merits as greater filtering area, taking up smaller floor, and larger capacity. Being fitted with stainless steel sector disc and trough body can make pulp cleanliness higher. Technical Parameters of Disc Thickener Diameter of disc: 2500/3500mm Normal filtrating area: 60-240m2 Number of discs: 8-16 pieces The density of inflow pulp: 0.8-1.2% The density of outflow pulp: 3-4% Capacity - AOCC: 9-24 tons/day Capacity - ONP: 5-14 tons/day Power of the main motor: 7.5-30kW Features of Disc Thickener 1. Used to wash and thicken low consistency slurry. 2. Combined disc-type filter drum increases the filter area greatly. 3. Less space requirement, but large production capacity. 4.
